ROLF Gold Ribbon Campaign
– an awareness campaign to grant and fulfill wishes of the underprivileged children.

As we celebrate our 19th anniversary, we reflect with pride and gratitude on this journey of giving hope and empowering young lives. In conjunction with United Nations World Peace Day 2025, and in line with this year’s official theme, “Act Now for a Peaceful World”, ROLF committee are proud to organize a meaningful event aimed at amplifying the voices of the marginalized, especially those silently impacted by global crises, economic hardship, and social exclusion. Today, many orphanages are facing growing challenges due to a lack of sustained sponsorship and community support. Without enough funding, they struggle to provide children with even the most basic daily needs -nutritious meals, school supplies, healthcare, and emotional support. At the same time, young graduates are finding it increasingly difficult to secure employment, while many university students are being forced to pause or abandon their education altogether due to the high cost of living and economic pressures. These are the silent struggles happening all around us. To make the dance performance truly inclusive and meaningful, we have intentionally incorporated hand signs inspired by sign language into the choreography, allowing the deaf-mute-community to understand and connect with the message. It is a small yet powerful gesture to remind us all that peace should be accessible, seen, and felt by everyone, regardless of background or limitations. In this way, action speaks louder than words, and this event becomes a space where compassion turns into impact.
Programs & Objectives:
1. The 19th ROLF Orange Ribbon YSR – Inclusive Peace Dance Performance
A powerful and emotionally driven dance performed by 60 participants – celebrities, influencers, orphans and university students, designed to go viral on social media. The choreography incorporates hand signs inspired by sign language, ensuring the message of peace is not only seen and felt, but understood by all, including the deaf-mute-community.
2. The 19th ROLF Gold Ribbon – Grant-A-Wish Campaign
We aim to bring joy to the children from orphanages by fulfilling their heartfelt wishes through a special gift-handover ceremony on this meaningful day. We will also host a meet-and-greet session between the children and their donors, followed by a shared dinner to celebrate kindness and community.
3. Call to Action for Business Communities
We will highlight the struggles faced by unemployed youth and fresh graduates who are finding it difficult to meet their daily needs due to economic hardship. This segment urges business owners, industry leaders, and decision-makers to open up more opportunities, be it through internships, mentorships, or employment, for marginalized young people who are ready to contribute but lack access.
To mark the 19th anniversary of ROLF Campaign, our non-profit initiative, we are taking a bold step forward by hosting this year’s event in one of the most prominent and high-traffic locations in Malaysia – KL Pavilion. The Gold Ribbon Campaign was launched to fulfil the wishes of underprivileged, marginalized, and severely disabled children (both physically and mentally). Since its inception, the Gold Ribbon Campaign has continuously organized the Grant-A-Wish initiative each year. To date, it has fulfilled approximately 11,000 wishes for underprivileged children in Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and Nepal. This year, the wish-matching period runs from 20th August to 30th September, 2025. Public donors are invited to grant gifts based on the wish lists provided. The Gift Handover Ceremony, where donors meet the children, along with a series of programs, will take place on 18th October, 2025 @ Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. If you wish to grant a child’s wish, please submit the Grant-A-Wish E-Form to the organizers by no later than 30th September, 2025. Kindly refrain from delivering gifts directly to the orphanages before the Gift Handover Ceremony. For further assistance, please contact us at rainbowoflifeforces@gmail.com.
