How to Participate

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:

• Three Categories:
  Category 1 – Orphanages for underprivileged children
  Category 2 – Orphanages for children who are handicapped or disabled – physical or mental
  Category 3 – Orphans who need fund for medical treatment and surgery
• Orphans who are under the age of 18.
• The wish must be truly a child’s wish. For those children who are unable to decide on their wishes, their legal guardians can help them to do so.
• The child’s wish must be pre-approved by the Board of the participating orphanages before the Wish Lists are sent to ROLF.
• Orphanages must be registered with Social Welfare Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Kebajikan Kemasyarakatan).

HOW THE PUBLIC CAN PARTICIPATE:

• Children make wishes and ROLF will publish the wish list on ROLF’s official website – www.rolfcommunity.org and in the wish-list booklets starting from 23rd September, 2011.
• ROLF will look for public and corporate donors to match those wishes. Donors can find the “Grant-A-Wish Form” from the wish-list booklets or ROLF’s official website and email/fax/mail the form to us not later than 31st October, 2011.
• ROLF will verify the applications and confirm the matches.
• Donors are allowed to grant the wishes under their names or bestow it “in Honor of” or “in Memory of” family members or friends.
• ROLF will organize a Children’s Day Party and Gift Hand-over Ceremony in each orphanage from 1st of November till 20th November, 2011. We will provide the schedule of visit once we finalize and confirm the participation.
• For those donors who cannot attend the Gift Hand-over Ceremony, they can entrust a representative to do the hand-over.

谁可参与?

• 共三大类别 :
  • 类别1  -  较贫困的孤儿院
  • 类别2 –  收留残障或智障儿童的孤儿院
  • 类别3 –  紧急需要治疗和手术资助的孤儿

• 孤儿必须是年龄18岁以下
• 孩子许的“愿望”必须是孩子的意愿和梦想。那些无法自行决定“愿望”的孩子，合法监护人可代为决定。

• 孤儿院必须注册登记于Registry of Society (ROS) Malaysia or Social Welfare Dept of Malaysia.

公众如何参与？

• 我们将从2011年9月23日起，在官方网站 www.rolfcommunity.org 和活动愿望清    单小册子刊登所有孩子们许下的愿望.
• 我们将寻求公众人士和企业捐赠或捐助实现这些愿望。他们可以下载“圆梦表 格”然后在2011年10月31日前，将表格电邮/传真/邮寄于以下的地址.
• 我们将查证所有的申请，以及配对“愿望” 及 “圆梦”。
• 捐赠者可以用自己、家人或朋友的名义捐赠，为这些小孩圆梦和实现梦想。
• 我们将在2011年11月1日至20日其间安排捐赠者在指定时间和地点将礼物送到许愿   孩子们的手上。
• 无法出席的捐赠者，也可授权于代表代劳转交礼物。
