What can a child wish for
WHAT CAN A CHILD WISH FOR:
Category 1: Orphanages for underprivileged children.
a. Gift Items not exceeding RM300 monetary value. Children are not allowed to ask for cash:
- Toys and Games
- Books and Stationery
- Musical Instrument
- Art Supply
- Personal Accessories such as clothing and footwear
- Toiletries
- Food
- Healthcare and Food Supplement Products
- Personal Care Items
b. Donation not exceeding RM500 per annum to support full or partial fees of tuition classes and transportation. Orphanage must provide the invoices/ receipts issued by the tuition centers or transportation companies.
Category 2: Orphanages for children who are handicapped or disabled – physical or mental.
The centers can request for:
a. Short term or long term supply of
- Food: rice, cooking oil, condiment, canned food, vegetables, fruits and etc
- Cookware
- Home electrical appliances (must specify the purposes)
- Beds, blankets, mattresses, bedspreads, pillows and etc
- Medical mobility aids
- Bathroom aids and safety equipment
- Oxygen & respiratory care products, feeding & urological supplies
- Medicine and health product supply
- Equipment for physiotherapy
- Hearing, Reading and Learning Aids
b. Donation not exceeding RM1000 per annum to support full or partial fees of the below stated. Orphanages must provide the invoices/ receipts issued by the centers/ companies.
- Special Learning and Training Programs
- Physiotherapy
- Transportation
Category 3: Orphans who need fund for medical treatment and surgery.
To receive the fund, the child must be diagnosed with a life threatening disease. We must have the treating physician of the ill child as a referral.
The fund is used for:
- Surgery
- Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy
类别1 - 较贫困的孤儿院
A） 礼物价值不超过300令吉。孩子们只允许要求任何礼物，但不可以要求现金。
- 玩具和游戏
- 书本和文具
- 乐器
- 艺术用品
- 个人饰物例如衣服、鞋子
- 日常盥洗用具
- 食物
- 保健食品
- 个人护理产品
B）资助不超过500令吉的学费和交通费用（全额或部分资助）。孤儿院必须提供或出示学费中心/交通公司发出的发票和收据给予捐助者。
类别2 – 收留残障或智障儿童的孤儿院
孤儿院可以要求：
A） 短期或长期供应
- 食物：米，食用油，调味品，罐头食品，蔬菜，水果等
- 炊具
- 家庭电器用品（必须说明用途）
- 床，毯子，床垫，床单，枕头等
- 医疗行动辅助器
- 厕所辅助器和安全设备
- 氧气及呼吸援助器、喂养及泌尿科用品
- 医药及健康产品供应
- 物理治疗设备
- 听觉、阅读和学习辅助器
B） 每年捐款不超过1000令吉以全额或部分资助, 但孤儿院必须提供或出示医院， 医疗所或学费中心/交通公司发出的发票和收据：
- 特殊学习和训练课程
- 物理治疗
- 交通费
类别3 – 紧急需要治疗和手术资助的孤儿
以上孩子若要获取资助金，必须提供医生的证明或有关医疗报告。
资金将用于：
- 手术
- 放射性治疗和化疗
