This year CreatiVision is going to organize “Grant A Wish on Children's Day 2009” through RAINBOW OF LIFES FORCES (ROLF) Campaign to create magical moment for the kids who don't have homes by granting their wishes. The late Mother Teresa said: "We might not be able to do great things for this World, but we can do small things with great love." Often the most appreciated acts of kindness aren't the million dollar grants but a little concern and a few dollar gifts. We believe the dream-come-true impact can be tremendous to a child. Like before, CreatiVision Group of Companies will sponsor the total production cost of the campaign.

Who can participate?

  • Participants are limited to orphanages which house and raise children who are mentally or physically disabled, or children who are suffering from life-threatening diseases.
  • Orphans who are under the age of 18. However, there is no age limitation for mentally, intellectually and learning disabled.
  • Orphanages must be registered with Social Welfare Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Malaysia).
  • The wish must be truly a child’s wish. For those children who are unable to decide on their wishes, their legal guardians can help them to do so.

How the public can participate:

  • Tthe Campaigner will publish the children's wishes through various media and on ROLF’s official website – www.rolfcommunity.org, starting from Sep 1, 2009.
  • The Campaigner is looking for public and corporate donors to match those wishes. They can download the “Grant-A-Wish Form” from 1st of September onwards and email/fax the form to us not later than October 15, 2009.
  • The Campaigner will verify the application and confirm the match.
  • Donors are allowed to grant the wishes under their names or bestow it “in Honor of” or “in Memory of” family members or friends.
  • The Campaigner will decide a day in the 3rd and 4th week of October and 1st week of November for donors to present the gifts to the children at different orphanages. Please refer to the Wish List after September 1, 2009

What can a child wish for?

1. Children can request for gifts but not cash.

2. Categories of the wishes:
a. Gift Items not exceeding RM 300 monetary value:
• Toys and Games
• Books and Stationery
• Musical Instrument
• Art Supply
• Personal Accessories such as clothing and footwear
• Toiletries
• Food
• Healthcare and Food Supplement Products
• Personal Care Items

b. Fees not exceeding RM 1,000 per annum to support full or partial:
• Special Learning and Training Programs
• Physiotherapy

c. ROLF Medical Care Units (as referred by certified medical doctor):
• Medicine
• Medical Equipment
• Mobility Equipment and Aids (such as wheelchair, walking aids, toilet aids and other equipment that design for disable used)
• Orthopedic braces
• Hearing, Reading and Learning Aids

d. ROLF Intensive Care Units (as referred by certified medical doctor)
• Surgery
• Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy

3. The children’s wishes must be pre-approved by the Board of the participating orphanages before the Wish Lists are sent to ROLF.
