Definitions

Rainbow of Life Forces is referred to as “ROLF”; The Campaigner and Funder of ROLF, CreatiVision D.C. Sdn. Bhd. is referred to as “CVDC”; volunteers who support and assist ROLF in their activities as “ROLFERS”; the voluntary platform for the ROLFERs to gather and support the non-profit projects hosted by ROLF as “ROLFER’s CLUB”.

Registration

1. Volunteers must be 18 years old and above to join the ROLFER’s Club. Volunteers under 18 years old must obtain consent from their parents/legal guardians.

2. Registration as ROLFER is free of charge. No annual fee requested.

3. As applications and most correspondence will occur via email, priority will be given to applicant who uses email.

4. Registration form can be downloaded from www.rolfcommunity.org or facebook page at www.facebook.com/rolfcommunity.

5. Photocopy of application form is acceptable.

Travel

6. ROLFER is solely responsible for arranging and paying for their own transport expenses in every event.

Insurance

7. ROLFER’S CLUB does not provide the ROLFERs with insurance of any kind.

Indemnity

8. ROLFER agrees to indemnify CVDC / ROLF against any and all liability which IVHQ incurs arising directly or indirectly out of, or in connection (in any way) with, carrying out the volunteering works.

Drug and Alcohol Use

9. Whilst volunteering, consumption of alcohol is not allowed.

10. Drug use (unless prescribed by a doctor) is strictly prohibited and will result in instant dismissal from the program.

Confidentiality

11. All information and processes associated with the volunteer position are to be considered confidential.

Miscellaneous

12. ROLFER agrees to comply with ROLFER’s Code of Conduct.

13. By agreeing to the terms and conditions ROLFER agrees that ROLFER’s CLUB can use your photos and written feedback while at the project to post on its website http://www.rolfcommunity.org might use such material for marketing/promotion in form of brochure/emails/ or on its website. The use of such photos and material can also be done on any other domains owned by ROLF.

14. Photo taken by ROLFER during the program must not be used for political or commercial purposes.

15. Any photo taken by the ROLFER involving orphans must be censored before they can upload to their own social media network (i.e: Facebook, blogspot, google+, etc).

16. CVDC reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notice and at any time, to:

  1. reject any application for the ROLFER’s CLUB without having to provide reasons
  2. revoke the membership without having to provide reasons.
  3. to amend these terms and conditions from time to time; and
  4. suspend or terminate the Programme without having to provide reasons.

17. CVDC, its subsidiaries and related companies, including any and all of its employees, managers, directors, partner organizations are not liable, to the maximum extent of the law, for any loss or harm the volunteer or associates may suffer, including but not limited to loss caused directly or indirectly by:

  • Personal injury;
  • Emotional injury;
  • Death;
  • Illness or disease;
  • Damage to or loss of property

ROLFER’s code of conduct in all the activities organized by ROLF:

  1. ROLFERs are required to arrive at least 1⁄2 hour before the event starts.
  2. ROLFERs are strongly advised not to use sexual innuendos or vulgar word at any time during the assignment.
  3. ROLFERs must look neat and clean for the whole period of the assignment. The clothes must not carry any obscene wording or picture. It must also not have any motive on ‘drug’ and other negative elements.
  4. ROLFERs are not allowed to make comments on any political parties/ incident.
  5. ROLFERs are not allowed use the activity as the platform to promote any political agenda or commercial products and services.
  6. Please be aware of NO PARKING signs. If you park where you shouldn’t, your car may be ticketed or towed! Please park at the designated area.
  7. ROLFERs must complete all the shifts you are assigned. If you are unable to complete your shifts due to illness/injury or emergency, you must contact the CHIEF ROLFERs.
  8. Wear clothing appropriate to the weather and working conditions. Your clothes may get stained and soiled. Wear hard- soled shoes. Absolutely no sandals or open toed or open- backed shoes!
  9. Be flexible and aware that the nature of tasks and activities that may be required of you to go beyond the tasks listed in the job description
  10. For safety reasons, use of cell phones/text messaging must be during the intervals of the program only.
  11. Always put safety first for yourself and others. Do not feel obligated to perform tasks that seem too complicated or dangerous for you. Please highlight to CHIEF ROLFERs of your concern.
  12. When in doubt about an assignment, consult the Chief ROLFERs.
  13. Please help to vacant/clean the sites before leaving the event venue.
  14. Be sure to gather all your belongings before leaving the site.
  15. Be respectful to others including other ROLFERs, Participants, and children.
